Bummer Of the Week – YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer

In case you guys don’t already know, I’m a HUGE Sephora fan! Mainly because of their amazing samples and promotional items. That’s how I regularly find great products and of course some disappointments…

This week’s bummer is the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer. This primer is supposed to blur imperfections, illuminate your skin and boost radiance, bla, bla, bla…

First of all the texture of this primer is soooo weird. It feels like putting vaseline or petroleum jelly on your face. Your face will feel slimy, as if you have a mask on. Not a fan!

Plus it’s sparkly! I know it’s supposed to “illuminate” skin but your face will look all glittery. And when you first apply the primer, there is an unpleasant smell to it.

All in all, YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer has failed to impress me. It didn’t blur my imperfections or big pores at all. I tried it on half of my face to see a live comparison but both half ended up looking pretty much the same.

Stay tuned for next Sunday’s “Bummer Of The Week”!

I just hate when I get excited about something but it turns out it’s a big disappointment.

A friend of mine swears by this and I tried it a few times (she really wanted to convert me!), but it just didn’t work for me either :/

I guess it works on some people and not others… That’s the problem with skin care and beauty products they’re never compatible for everyone. It depends.

      XoXo,
