Black & White Dress

I don’t know about you, but on Sundays I like to slip into some comfy and slightly baggy clothes (so I can hide my brunch food baby, duh!). Easy to wear dresses are usually my go to pieces, especially when we have warmer weather. This black & white dress was the outfit of choice for my Sunday brunch date.

I recently got this stripped dress from (it was my first purchase from the site, have you used this site before? What are your thoughts of it? Let me know!) and I just love it! Styled with a pair of heels or sneakers, it has easily become one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe.

The fabric is extremely soft and just the right thickness for spring weather. It has three frontal slits, one in the middle and one along each side, that make it a little more casual.

Because it’s black & white, I like to accessorize with bright colors. From shoes to handbag, colorful pieces will make all the difference in an outfit like this!

Issey Miyake is one of my favorite fashion brands, it’s minimalistic yet futuristic, with huge Japanese influences (naturally as it’s a Japanese brand). Every time I wear this Bao bao clutch I get a ton of compliments for it. It has a very unique and eye catching style, really unlike any other bag. The vibrant purple with the black mesh contrast each other greatly. I love the origami style and that you can fold the clutch into a number of different styles.

We were going to a slightly fancier brunch spot this Sunday, so I opted for heels rather than flats. For a girl that doesn’t like pink, I’ve been wearing it more often recently. I’d bought these Steve Madden pink sandals a couple of years ago now, and they still look like new. They’re comfortable and the right height to be able to be wearable throughout the day.

Dress, shoes similar, clutch similar.

How would you style a black & white outfit and how did you spend your week end? Any fun plans? Tell me in the comments!
