March Favorites

Being the last day March, I decided to share with you today my March favorites. Although, I was on skin cleanse this month(which I’ll talk about in a dedicated post), I still managed to try a few new beauty products. While my make up was very minimalistic, all the products that I’ve recently been loving have one thing in common; A natural finish.

I have been loving lightweight and natural looking foundations lately. This Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere that I got early in March has instantly became an all time favorite. The water like texture makes it almost invisible on skin, while evening tone and hiding most blemishes. Though it’s buildable, it has low to medium coverage. I have a feeling that I’m gonna be loving it even more during warmer weather due to it’s weightlessness.

I received a sample of the new Benefit cosmetics Dew The Hoola liquid bronzer and I’m pretty sure I’ll be buying the full size versions once this is done. Because it’s in a liquid form, it blends seamlessly with my skin to achieve a perfect naturally bronzed look. You have to remember that it’s a bronzer, which means it’s on the orange-y side. It’s not meant to be a contour, but to give a natural looking sun-kissed glow. It kinda reminded me of the YSL Les Sahariennes Healthy Glow Balm, different textures but similar results. PS: You can also add a pump or two to your foundation for a darker look.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Wet’n’Wild is really upping their game! The new launches are so amazing. It’s unreal for that low of a price tag. The reformulated Color Icon Blusher in the “Rose Champagne” shade has been a favorite of mine for 2 months now, I’ve been using it non stop. When I saw this contour palette, I was expecting something a little chalky and rough to be honest… It’s $4.99 for God’s sake!!! To my utter surprise, the product is so extremely creamy it’s unbelievable. In a blind test, you’d definitely mistake it for a very high end brand. I have it in the shade “Dulce De Leche“, which is much colder than the other shade. Although “Caramel Toffee” would be great for darker skin tones. I use the brown shade for contouring and the light one for setting my under eye concealer. They both blend beautifully and the contour is so beautifully pigmented. Trust me, you need to have this palette in your life!

This MAC lipstick in the shade “Shanghai Spice” has been in my bag for the whole month. It’s a beautiful peachy neutral, that is just perfect for spring and summer.DSC04206

Lip Balm:

Clinique recently released “Almost Lipstick“, which is kinda a balm and kinda a lipstick. Even though it’s not super pigmented it gives your lips a beautiful hint of color and a gorgeous shine, as if your wearing a lipgloss, but not really. I have the shade “Pink Honey” which is your natural lip color but better. It’s so easy and effortless, you can apply it on the go without a mirror to add a little life to your lips.

Blogger Of The Month: has been my go to blog for fashion inspo this past month. Vanessa is such a gorgeous babe, not only she has a great sense of style, she’s also making some cute jewelry! Be sure to check out her blog, you’ll get a ton of outfit inspo.

These were the beauty products that I’ve been reaching for the most this month, and have a feeling that I’ll be reaching for in the upcoming month(s) too. March felt quick & short, but that only means that summer is getting closer!

I have the Chanel foundation you mentioned laying around. I haven’t opened it yet though as I try to get through a couple of my other foundations before I try it … It’s so hard to wait lol! Especially when you and everyone else says it’s good. xx
