Salt & Straw

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that every time I visit Los Angeles, I absolutely must stop for ice cream at Salt & Straw. I’ve talked about it here and here, simply because it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I promised you a dedicated post for this amazing place, and here it is!IMG_3220
Located in the middle of Abbot Kinney, it’s really hard to miss. The constant line of eager and excited people, waiting to get a taste of Salt & Straw’s out of this world ice cream will let you know that you’re at the right place!

IMG_3215If you get a little lost, don’t worry, I’ll lead the way!IMG_3221

IMG_3230Originally from Portland, this delicious ice cream shop ventured south and opened a few locations in and around sunny L.A., to our utter joy! With a farm-to-cone mentality, what sets Salt & Straw apart it’s the unusual and fresh flavors. With a classic menu and more “adventurous” monthly flavors, there’s something for everyone. Whether you prefer chocolate brownie or eggplant honey custard ice cream, you’ll taste buds we’ll be screaming for more!

IMG_3244Honey lavender on top, roasted strawberry & toasted white chocolate on the bottom is my personal favorite combo! Mouthwatering, rich and decadent, each cone is sinfully good…IMG_3247

Dress Urban Outfitters sold out similar, shoes Chinese Laundry on sale, Chloe inspired bag Forever 21 sold out similar  here, here or real

So next time you’re in L.A. or Portland make it your mission to have a cone at Salt & Straw!

Find their locations here.

What a gorgeous outfit, and you look great. Although, I’ve never been able to eat ice cream becasue of the sugar, I do loooove frozen yoghurt and love lavender ice cream/yoghurt. This sounds like a winning ice cream place to visit. /Madison

I LOVE salt and straw!!! The rotating monthly flavors are a MUST, but the almond brittle and strawberry flavors are my go-tos when nothing catches my eye. Still need to stop in this month for the VEGGIE series!
