If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that every time I visit Los Angeles, I absolutely must stop for ice cream at Salt & Straw. I’ve talked about it here and here, simply because it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I promised you a dedicated post for this amazing place, and here it is!
Located in the middle of Abbot Kinney, it’s really hard to miss. The constant line of eager and excited people, waiting to get a taste of Salt & Straw’s out of this world ice cream will let you know that you’re at the right place!

Originally from Portland, this delicious ice cream shop ventured south and opened a few locations in and around sunny L.A., to our utter joy! With a farm-to-cone mentality, what sets Salt & Straw apart it’s the unusual and fresh flavors. With a classic menu and more “adventurous” monthly flavors, there’s something for everyone. Honey lavender on top, roasted strawberry & toasted white chocolate on the bottom is my personal favorite combo! Mouthwatering, rich and decadent, each cone is sinfully good…
