Edgy Chic

There’s still a couple of posts left in my Portland series, but I thought I’d spruce them up a bit. To mix things up a little I’ll be sharing with you this edgy chic look. So easy to style, it can be worn for a girls night out or a dinner date.

Although it was rather courageous of me to wear a crop top, the blazer actually helps hiding the food baby after dinner! Also, the high wasted pants helped tuck in my belly while still looking chic and a la mode.IMG_4174-2

If you don’t feel comfortable showing too much skin, layering some sort of jacket or even a large scarf, is a great way to wear a crop top whilst not baring it all. Also, high wasted pants are a brilliant trick to be a little cheeky without showing off too much skin! Thankfully the circa 2000 trends are dead. Do you remember back early 2000’s when crop tops and low rise pants were a thing? Geez… While I do believe people should dress whatever way they like, I also think classiness is important too.

A crop top and a blazer would almost always make an edgy chic statement no matter how you rock them!

I hope my fellow US residents are enjoying the long weekend and to that everyone is having a great start of the week.

I’m a fan of this ensemble. It is indeed classy to pair a crop top with a high waisted pants. It still exudes sexiness but still provides cover. Thanks for the inspiration!

You are so beautiful that you could wear the crop top and low rise jeans and pull it off! LOL! But you’re right, people should wear whatever they want but please do it with class. Love your style here, Tamara, I don’t think I could wear the tank and show as much skin anymore, definitely no way after two kids. LOL!

You look amazing, girlie! I love the way you’ve layered your blazer over the crop top and paired it with high waisted trousers, you look so chic! I agree, there should be a balance of classiness in an outfit to keep things polished, yet still reflective of an individual’s style. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!
