During Blogtober, I’ll be sharing a new recipe each Sunday. This orange & beet salad is a simple trick to impress your guests. Zingy, sweet and vibrant, it’s the perfect starter for any fall feast!
The steps to making it are simple, and so are the ingredients. Even with no cooking skills, you can still master this recipe!
All you need is the following:
1 Cooked Beet (I always buy raw beets and cook them myself. They’re easy to store in the fridge and add a great taste to any salad!)
Goat Cheese, I used “Boursin – garlic & herbs”
Salt & Pepper
Start by Laying down the Kale on a platting dish. Peel & cut the orange and the beet in thin cylinders. Top them on the kale. Chop the pecans and sprinkle them on top.
Cut the goat cheese into tiny pieces and spread them on top of the salad. Sprinkle some salt & pepper and your liking of balsamic vinegar.
Move the plate to the center of the table and wait for the “wooow”‘s to roll in…
With each bite, your taste buds will be awaken with tangy and sweet flavors. This orange & beet salad is perfect to dip your toes into fall’s cuisine without completely forgetting about summer.
Prepped and plated in less than 10 minutes, there’s no good reason why you shouldn’t try it today!
As always, if you make this salad tag me on social media and use the hashtag #LOMblogtober. I can’t wait to all of your pictures!
