Aloha friends! R & I finally made it back to SF yesterday morning. Our trip, although a tad short, was absolutely incredible. I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate our anniversary and both of our birthdays.
Although we only visited one of its many islands, we immediately fell in love with Hawaii. We’re already planning for a trip to visit other islands soon. The breathtaking scenery, the friendly people and the amazing culture, are just a few of the gems of Hawai’i.
This trip we stayed in Honolulu on the island of O’ahu. What, I liked most about O’ahu, is the dress code, a.k.a bikinis all day everyday!
I was so excited to finally wet my palm print bikini, which I purchased months ago.
I can’t begin to describe how beautiful the water is there. It’s a shade of turquoise I haven’t seen before. So clean and clear, it feels like you’re floating on air.
The waves glitter under the sun in the distance, before crashing on the shore. Some parts of the beach are rough and angry, perfect for surfing. Others are calm and serene, for a perfect beach day. We spent just a couple of our days on the beach, soaking in the sun and floating out into Pacific.
On the other days, we had some pretty exciting adventures planned up. I’ll tell you all about it soon…
