Sunday mornings in New York are a little less busy than usual. Although the city’s hustle never really stops, on Sundays it definitely calms down a tad.
So your next Sunday in the city, sleep in a bit and take your time getting out of bed, there’s no rush… Get ready, and head for Grand Central.
Tucked inside of Grand Central station, on Lexington street, is a cozy little market. Although it’s open daily, there’s something special about strolling a market on Sunday. Don’t come too early, the market opens at 11:00 am on Sundays… I told you to sleep in!
From flowers, to produce, seafood and spices, this cute little market has a lot going on.
Before leaving, be sure to stop at the bakeries and buy some of their delicacies. Fresh breads, to coffee cakes and pretzel croissant all look absolutely delicious. Pick a pastry or two, and head over next door to Cafe Grumpy to enjoy them with a hot cup of coffee!
Don’t spend too much time indoors though. Grab your coffee and continue exploring the city…
Until next time New York.
