The Best Facial Oil For Oily Skin

I have tried my share of facial oils. Everything doesn’t seem to agree with my skin. Even the most coveted products in the beauty world, aka Sunday Riley Luna oil, cause my face to break out. Now after a few months of use, I can say I’ve finally found one that it’s good for my oily skin.

It’s Herbivore Lapis Facial oil.

Love Of Mode Herbivore Lapis Facial Oil

Created from 100% natural ingredients specifically for oily skin, Lapis Facial oil won’t break you out! I have to admit that I was a little skeptical to add it to my daily routine.

And oil for oily skin? How can it not cause breakouts?

Believe it or not, even oily skin needs moisturizing. Lapis facial oil is made from 100% natural ingredients that moisturize the skin without clogging pores. It helps regulate and balance excess oil production. I use it by applying about 5 drops each night on cleansed and toned skin. I let it sink in for a moment before continuing my skin care routine.

I have been using the Herbivore Lapis facial oil for a couple months now, and I have been noticing that my skin is smoother and clearer than before. I also noticed my acne scars getting smaller and less visible. Although I still get an occasional pimple or two (often due to new products) my skin is clearer than ever.

If you have oily skin and are looking for a delicate facial oil, I highly recommend Herbivore Lapis facial oil. It’s well worth the price tag and the bottle will last a long time. Investing money and time in an appropriate skin care routine is crucial for healthy good looking skin.

The only oisl I found that works with my oily skin is a mix of organic all natural coconut oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, and olive oil. After mixing them all together I add one small drop to wet moist hands and face and rub it in. My skin has never been better, but this product seems like it may be a nice alternative.

I’ve seen a few reviews on this brand but not many. I have never tried anything from them but will head over to their site and check them out.

I also have oily skin and love face oils. I find oils sit better on my skin and help with make-up application.
    Great post!

I have never tried an oil before. I keep telling myself to try to take a better care of my skin, but I don’t really have a skin problem. I just want to work for the future years.
I will make sure to try it though.

Isn’t it crazy how counterintuitive it is that you need oil on your skin for great skin? I have not used much in the way of skin oils (yet) but I have done other things in the way of moisturizing and such that’s relatable! XO

Ooh interesting! I agree – oil doesn’t seem to make sense for oily skin, but this looks amazing! I’m a little more oily in the summer, so I’ll keep this on my list for then!

I love skin oils since I have dry skin, and I’m always on the hunt for the best ones out there. I’ll check this brand one out to see if they carry any products for dry skin as well! 🙂 xo

Great post babe!! I was always scared of using facial oils because I already have oily skin and thought it would break me out! But using an oil actually counteracts the oil in my skin and makes my face less oily!! It’s always good to try out a few different brands and see which one works best for you! Glad you found the herbivore one! <3

I, too, have oily skin! I have never heard of this brand before, I appreciate you introducing it to me, I’ll have to look into it. I’ve been using one my Evanhealy and it’s been okay, but if there’s another option that’s suitable for oily skin, I’m willing to try! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

I’ve also found various facial oils cause me to breakout (around the chin area), and so I’m really pleased to hear you’ve found an oil that doesn’t have that effect on your skin – and that it’s helped it become smoother and clearer! 🙂

I have always been scared of trying facial oils as I was scared they would ruin my skin. It’s great to hear that you found a product that works for you.

I haven’t heard of this brand but will definitely give this a try. I have oily skin and I am so reluctant to use anything that will cause a breakout or shiny t-zone. I tried the Clarins facial oil but this had a tea-tree kind of smell, too overpowering in my opinion and not exactly appealing to my boyfriend! 🙂 Thanks for sharing Tamara xxx

I’ve never heard of this before, but your results sound amazing – definitely going to consider giving this a go!

I’m the same way- my skin reacts differently to different products, even if they’re supposed to be the same kind of beauty product. I had acne in my early teens, and I spent almost a year on acne medication that helped clear it up, but left me with uber-sensitive skin that reacted in the craziest of ways to different products, and today I’m still that way. I might give this a shot! I like using Josie Maran’s light argan oil on my skin.

This sounds quite excellent. I actually have combination skin, so I don’t know how it would react to my skin. But I have also been having that problem that nothing really works on my skin. My new idea is to go to my local health food store and buy up all their natural products. Maybe the natural stuff will actually work.

I don’t have oily skin, anymore that is but this oil sounds wonderful. I am more on the drier side and I love using facial oils. I should check out this brand. Great review!
