Why Everyone Needs A Good Fitted Blazer

If you ask me, a good blazer is a wardrobe essential. Whether you’re a man or a woman, have a desk job or not, a solid fitted blazer is vital.

The key to making an affordable blazer look expensive is a good fit. Well fitted blazers immediately look more elegant and refined. Make sure that it isn’t too tight nor too loose. It should close in the middle comfortably without bulging nor have access fabric. The sleeves should end right at your wrists, not longer or shorter.

If you’re petite, choose a blazer that hits right on your hips. Anything longer will make your figure look tiny. If you’re tall, a longer blazer will give the illusion of a shorter torso.

The beauty of a blazer is that you can wear it with absolutely anything. With black tights and an oversized white tee, a pair of jeans, a dress or even suit pants, it looks great with anything and everything. Personally, I prefer having at least one dark colored blazer in my wardrobe at all time. No matter the season, I know it will always look fashionable and elegant.

If you don’t own one already, make sure to go ahead and find your perfect blazer. Trust me, it’s what your wardrobe is missing!

XoXo,

Tamara

I say this all the time. A blazer is the perfect item for any aged woman!!
And if it doesn’t fit perfectly off the rack, there are many times it can be altered!!

I agree, there is nothing like a great blazer that fits well. Blazers are probably one of my favourite style of jackets to wear aside from leather jackets. You look great! Such a smart outfit here. x/Madison

Hahah lol, I wrote today that I’m not completely one for blazers but I’ll probably change my mind about it with all the blazers that will be trending this fall. So yes and thank you for the first step of convincing me! Love this blazer and tuxedo feeling of it. So good tbh! Xx

I couldn’t agree more, beauty, a blazer is definitely an essential and should be in everyone’s closet. It’s so versatile, especially when in darker neutrals, such as black and navy. I also agree with the awesome tips you’ve shared on selecting one that looks expensive, showing that you don’t have to break the bank to achieve that sophisticated and polished look. Speaking of looks, I adore the one you’ve put together there! The blazer looks so good on you and and I love how you’ve paired it with the leather moto pants! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
