My Gym Bag Essentials – Skin Care, Hair Care & More

Over the past couple months, I’ve been focusing on getting fitter and more healthy in general. I started exercising regularly, going to Barre classes and hitting the gym.

At first, my gym bag was kind of chaotic. With time, I began to know what I needed with me and what I didn’t. If you’d like to know what I keep in my gym bag keep read on!

Tech

The most important things in my gym bag, are my earphones. I can never exercise without having my own playlist playing or having to go back to wearing traditional earphones. The Apple AirPods are wireless which makes exercising so much easier no wires tangling or constraining you!

Although I love my AirPods, the small packaging can get easily lost in my bag, that’s why this PodPocket is the perfect case for them. Not only is it so cute, but it can also be easily connected to your keychain or bag so you never lose them. I always know where my AirPods are thanks to my PodPocket in my chaotic gym bag. They also come in handy when I’m working from a coffee shop, and because they’re attached to my keys they’re always with me!

Skin Care

Personally, I prefer to exercise with a bare face. You totally can make up if you like but my pores get too clogged so I skip it. After a sweat sesh, I wash my face immediately afterward. I always have a travel size cleanser to help clear out my pores. I’m currently using the First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser With Red Clay which cleanses my skin without overdrying it. When sweating your whole body looses water, thus for hydration. So after cleansing, I make sure to hydrate my face with the Murad Hydrating Toner. It comes in a spray bottle so it’s easy and quick to use on the go!

I don’t know about you, but I always suffer from dry lips when exercising. Therefore, a lip balm is essential in my gym bag. If you love the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum cream‘s smell, you’re gonna absolutely love this Sol De Janeiro lip balm! Not only does it smell so good, it also keeps your lips hydrated after a workout.

Hair Care

As for my hair, I admit I don’t wash it every day. On the days when I don’t sweat much, I just use my Bumble & Bumble Pret-a-Powder dry shampoo powder to suck up the excess oils and refresh it. I then brush it off with my Tangle Teezer which is compact enough to keep in any bag, not just a gym bag.

Misc

Finally, the last few things I have in my gym bags are a big water bottle, a clean face towel and a healthy snack. The Bounce Superberry energy balls are my favorite. They’re both nutritious being made from real ingredients and very tasty to boot!

These are all the things I like to have in my bag. What about you? What do you keep in your gym bag? Is there anything I should add to mine? Let me know!

XoXo,

Tamara

I don’t go to the gym and the only classes I ever took was yoga classes. It also helps that my home is just 5-10 minutes drive away so I never have to bring anything with me other than a towel and a bottle of water.

Thank you for sharing! I excluded the earphones from my bag. Covering your ears during an exercise is bad for your blood pressure, especially with those plug-in ear pieces.

I want to try a Barre Class but they are so expensive I just can’t afford it. I hear it does wonderful things to your body. I want some AirPods, they seem super convenient. I couldn’t imagine working out with makeup on, but I see a lot of women at the gym in full face paint. I’ve heard of The Bounce Superberry energy balls, they are delicious.

Those AirPods looks so nice! I don’t wash my hair every day either so dry shampoo is a must!

First off, you look amazing, girl! I love that sports bra, so cute!!! I’ve been so lazy and have forgotten nearly everyday to charge my wireless ear phones because they are definitely more convenient and more comfortable to work out in. I have to check out that little pod to hold them in, they are indeed adorable and I love how they can be hooked onto your keychain, which is super convenient and your guarantee to never lose them! I also need to check out that dry shampoo, I’m always looking for new ones to try. Thanks for sharing, gorgeous girlie, and I hope you’re having a great week so far!
