Almost every year around this time, we head up to wine country. Although it’s beautiful year round, in the fall it’s always something else. The leaves of the trees and the vines turned yellow, red and orange, look like a sea of flame. Even if you’re just driving by, you can still feel and enjoy the beauty of Fall in Napa.
This year we decided to stay at the Silverado Resort & Spa, in the heart of Napa Valley. The timing was absolutely perfect. With the Fall foliage, warm weather and golden sun, it was an absolute paradise.
Driving to our cottage, through the many golf courses on the property, we got a glimpse of the beauty of this estate. Shame I don’t golf, but if I did the Silverado Resort & Spa would’ve been heaven…
Quickly enough, we found our cottage for the night. Sitting in between the trees, it felt like we’re in a tree house! With views overlooking the forest and a peaceful silence broken by birds singing here and there, it was the perfect getaway spot.
After a pretty fun but tiring day of wine tasting, we were ready to unwind.
We quickly made ourselves at home, took a warm shower and got into our robes just in time to enjoy the sunset from our balcony.
Thank you, Silverado Hotel & Spa for sponsoring our stay.
