My Sephora Sale Top Picks Rundown

It’s that time of the year again. The Sephora Sale is here! Although I contained myself this year, I still managed to buy one too many things…

My strategy when it comes to the Sephora Sale is to stock up on products that you use daily or that you run out of frequently. Usually, that means stocking up on my favorite skincare and hair care products. These seem the items that I use up most frequently. When it comes to makeup, the only thing I repurchase every few months, are mascaras and concealer. So, those two will definitely be added to my cart.

My Tips

Once, I added those “necessities”, and if my budget allows it, I’ll treat myself to something new or something luxurious. This way I make sure I covered the basics before going wild on not so important items. The sales can definitely be exciting and make us want to buy that crazy expensive eyeshadow palette that we will barely use. So to avoid that here are some simple steps to follow:

  1. A couple of days before, set yourself a certain budget.
  2. Then add all you repurchased items to your bag. And calculate the total after the sales and taxes.
  3. Add your lust items to your “Loves List”.
  4. If your budget allows it, start adding items from your “Love List” to your cart until you reach your budget limit.
  5. Check out and don’t check out the Sephora site until the sales are over!

While the sale is great, you can also save even more money using Ebates. If you’re not familiar with Ebates, it’s a site that gives you cash back whenever you shop online. Every quarter, they send you a BIG FAT CHECK or a gift card of your choice. Luckily I got my Sephora gift card right before the sale, which meant I didn’t take away any money from my bank account. All you have to do is sign up HERE and get $10 immediately. Then any website you want, including Sephora.com through Ebates. And every time you shop you earn money back!

Nice tips! I like your selections they are all lovely. I have been using the Irish Moor mud mask for a long while and love it. Of course, I always love Jo Malone in any form. Thanks for sharing, dear. <3 Madison

I love sales, but just like every aspect of shopping, you have to plan it well. I like how you manage to organize your shopping. This are great ideas.
