The holidays have passed far too quickly it seems this year. It’s weird how much buildup and anticipation we have for these few days of the year. Weeks in advance we start preparing and counting the moments awaiting the joy of the holidays. And just like that the days pass, and a new year commences, and the festivities slip away.
Although there’s something refreshing about a new year, I can’t help but feel blue and a little sluggish this time a year. Maybe it’s all the food I ate during the past few weeks, or maybe it’s the fact that Christmas is a whole year away.
Either way, I definitely get major holiday withdrawals the first week of January. I don’t know if I’m alone, or maybe you’re feeling it too… but post-holidays blues are definitely a thing.

It’s like a let down after the fact, but it’s also a great time to reflect and realize how blessed we are!!!
Love the sweater, Tamara!!
Happy 2018!

Yes! I know exactly what you are talking about! After the holidays I just feel blah! I’m dreaming of warmer weather. I feel like I should plan a trip someplace warm so I have something to look forward to during these cold months!
