Trend Alert: The White Summer Dress

A white summer dress is as groundbreaking as floral in spring (quoting Miranda Priestly). Although white is a color that can and should be worn all year long, in summer, it just as comes to life. Maybe it’s the golden rays shining brightly, or our sun-kissed skin complementing it beautifully, but white just looks much better, when the weather is warm, and we become carefree.

This year the white summer dress is reigning the fashion scene, becoming an “it” item in every fashionista ‘s wardrobe. Although it’s now the hottest trend to have and wear, it is truly timeless and can transcend year to year, if you choose a classic style. Although mini smock dresses are particularly popular at the moment, you can rock this trend no matter what style of dress you wear. From T-shirt dresses to flowy maxi dresses, which make it a versatile and extremely inclusive.

Surely, many of us have at least one white dress in our wardrobes already, but if you’re looking to tszuj up your wardrobe here are a few of my top white summer dress picks for you.

Zara, the high-street trend Mecca, has also a few options for us to choose from. This is the dress I’m wearing in the pictures. I love the fact that I can style it casually but also more formally as well. This one is another cute option that will look great with some slides and a cute crossbody bag. If you’re looking for a longer length, this midi dress is a great option. It will look beautiful styled with a straw hat, black sandals, and a belt to cinch in the waist.

Earrings, Long Necklace, Short Necklace, Bracelet, Bag

If you want more ideas on how to accessorize different styles of white dresses make sure to keep an eye on my Youtube channel, where I will break down how I would wear this trend, this spring & summer.
