A leather jacket has been a staple of my wardrobe ever since I was a teen. Along the years, I rotated between black, brown and tan jackets, but never blue. When I saw this blue leather jacket I immediately knew I just had to add it to my collection.
The blue is more on the pastel side, making the fabric look denim-like. And just like a denim jacket, it will go with practically any outfit.
Although nothing is as timeless as a black leather jacket, a bright colored one is fun to rock too! The light colors will show the structure of the jacket more clearly and the details will easily pop.
When shopping for a leather jacket I usually look for a more fitted form. Although an oversized jacket can look badass, a rather fit form looks more tailored and chic. Also, cropped jacket will not overwhelm my petite figure like an oversized jackets would.
I know a bright colored leather jacket might sound a little crazy, but with the right shape and cut it can be a statement piece. If you’re a bit afraid of the light blue, opt for something like this burgundy jacket or even this light turquoise jacket. It will still be a twist on traditional black!
Would you ever wear a bright colored leather jacket? How would you style it?
